Current Situation: Cold. Lazy. Hungry. I hate when I don’t have something planned for dinner and the scramble begins as I search for something other than mac & cheese. I came across The mom maven, and her recipe for Ranch Pork Chops in the Crock Pot. I love my slow cooker. Its the greatest thing ever.
When it’s cold out I feel like snuggling under a blanket and not doing anything. So of course, slow cooking gives me the “luxury” of keeping warm. Unfortunately, when I don’t have dinner planned, I’m a bit limited on what’s on hand. I did not have pork loins chops, so I defrosted these bad boys. This recipe doesn’t really call for tons of ingredients which is so nice. I also over poured the water and used two cans not one. And quiet possibly the pork chops weren’t fully defrosted, which added some water. I ended up using a label to remove some liquid, which helped. It didn’t have as much flavor as I assume it should have, but still had a good taste. I served it with rice.

- water, 1 can full.
- Spray the crockpot.
- In a small bowl combine the can of soup, the Ranch dressing mix and ½-1 full soup can of water and mix.
- Pour some of the soup mixture into the crockpot to cover the bottom and place pork ontop. Pour the rest of mix onto the chops.
- Cover and cook on low for 4 hours or 2 hours on high.
