Autumn? Is that you? Apple Pie Bites

IMG_5325

It’s almost officially fall. As I have said before, and i’m sure I will say it again, I LOVE pumpkin! As long as it’s enjoyed during September, October & November.  This includes any type of pumpkin food. Literally. I now have in my possession, pumpkin cream cheese, bagels, coffee, coffee creamer, oatmeal, yogurt, and even some pumpkin bread mix. It’s ridiculous & i’m okay with it. 🙂 The week hiatus has been in preparation for all of October. I now have the meals planned to the point of no return. I have a schedule started for the television movies & shows along with some serious bucket list action. You’re not reading this to hear about my organization skills, so lets move onto the food. Todays Treat: Apple Pie Bites.

If you get the chance to go pick apples, do it. It is so enjoyable and fun. Also, if your into making your own apple pie filling or applesauce this is the perfect opportunity.

Apple Pie Bites

Grab 2-4 apples. (I used granny smith) Slice them.

1/3 cup of sugar

1/3 cup of cinnamon

Mix cinnamon and sugar in a small bowl

** always use a 1:1 ratio for the cinnamon & sugar if your going to use more or less**

1 can of crescent rolls

Directions

Preheat oven to 375 degrees F. Open the crescent rolls, and lay them out, place 1-2 apple sliced onto the wide end of the crescent roll, and sprinkle the whole roll with the cinnamon and sugar, and roll it up. Bake 10-13 minutes or until cooked.

Enjoy!!

** lil tip** To make it super easy, just mix the apple slices with some cinnamon and sugar, and maybe sprinkle a little more of the CS mixture onto the apple. **
